Coffee Description
Naimeg, grown on Fazenda Londrina, sits 1150 meters above sea level in the Cerrado region of Minas Gerais, the largest coffee growing region in Brazil. This coffee lot comes from the Naimeg group and is a beautiful natural Red Catuaí bursting with character!
In the cup, expect notes of nuts (pecans and roasted almonds) with a bright tropical fruit acidity reminiscent of pineapple. The cup is rounded off by a smooth mouthfeel and a sweet nougat finish, making for a clean and complex cup!
Fazenda Londrina is around 394ha in size with 200ha set aside for coffee. It is located near the city of Patos de Minas, at an altitude of approximately 1160masl. The farm successfully grows varietals of catuai, icatu and acaia on the local clay loam soils and harvesting is mechanical thanks to the flat lay of the land. Brazil Fazenda Londrina has won awards in national espresso competitions in recognition of its good character in the cup.
